NOSTROMO

«Nostromo» is a space for reflection on books and reading. It is an informative program focused on editorial news, literary events and recommendations that, due to its conception, design and target audience, can rarely enter into topics of debate.

«Nostromo» offers a corner where we can talk in depth about what fascinates us about books and literature. From editing to the imaginary universes that some fictional stories have created in entire generations.

In the first section there will be an interview with a prestigious writer or editor in what will be an intimate, close and personal conversation. The authors’ hobbies, passions, routines, desires and sources of inspiration will be revealed to us so that, as readers, we can discover who is hiding behind the pages of the books that sleep on our nightstand. Another section will be an in-depth discussion with various experts around a different topic each week, for example, the rise of the crime novel, the non-fiction novel, the e-book revolution, etc. In the program there will also be a space for poetry understood in its broadest sense, making room for new poetry and new poets who combine their rhymes with other artistic disciplines.

“Nostromo” closes with a section of recommendations, provided by the team’s specialists and by the guests themselves, and a phrase for reflection taken from a book. Because, as even the most purist intellectuals recognize, in every literary work, whether good or bad, there is always a masterful sentence worthy of not being forgotten.
